  1. Do you realize that even if they were arrested, they will serve time and more than likely get out and do it again? It is a Catch 22.

  2. Shoot … in Colorado, you can have an ounce (over 28 grams) and be legal. Pennsylvania is just a laggard state.

  3. Wow, murder? Really? What about the sober murderers? What should happen to them? I think you are blowing this way out of proportion. Marijuana is not a gateway drug to murder. But then again, I should expect a response like yours in this town.

  4. Can you imagine what would happen in Columbia if marijuana became legal in Pennsylvania. I am pretty sure that many Columbia residents' heads would just explode!

  5. Exactly, despite the ramblings of idiocy that Jeffrey Beauregard Sessions, science finds “findings are consistent with the idea of marijuana as a 'gateway drug.' However, the majority of people who use marijuana do not go on to use other, 'harder' substances. Also, cross-sensitization is not unique to marijuana. Alcohol and nicotine also prime the brain for a heightened response to other drugs52 and are, like marijuana, also typically used before a person progresses to other, more harmful substances.”https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/research-reports/marijuana/marijuana-gateway-drug

  7. And the person involved in this particular case is Philip N. Benson, not Randy Howard. That being said, you must be one of those people who think all people who make a mistake should go to prison, but then you complain about your taxes being too high.

  8. That is what I do for a living. Also, the majority of drug and/or alcohol Columbia residents that I have helped on their journey are homeowners. That is a nice glass house you have there, better be careful.

  9. I have heard this for years and even again recently, that there are Columbia homeowners who are dealing out of their “homes.” I was even told to not say anything about specific houses that are suspect. Other residents are protecting them. How is this complacency helping the borough? I rather prefer a glass house to a crack house.
