I am unable to attend but would be interested to know why the varsity baseball coach is no longer permitted to coach. It is my understanding that he took a position at a different district but would like to continue to coach and was told that he cannot continue to coach by the new AD. He was apparently very upset when he met with the players. I know some of the players are also pretty upset and are considering not even playing this year. He is a very good coach and cares about these kids……Why push him away if he wants to coach?
Wow…I am so tired of people spouting off about bankruptcy. The school is not and cannot file for bankruptcy. I wish they could, imagine being able to have portions of the debt wiped clean, but it doesn't work that way. Take time to read the laws that govern our schools. There is not doubt in my mind that we will soon be under control of the state in accordance with article VI-A of the school code (financially distressed schools) but we can't file bankruptcy. The law forbids it.
