Accidents keep crews busy Sunday morning

Two vehicle accidents kept emergency crews busy this morning in the borough.
A two-vehicle accident with entrapment held up traffic at about 7:30 on Lancaster Avenue near the Grand China Restaurant. A Volkswagen Beetle and a Nissan Maxima collided, blocking both lanes. At least one person was taken by ambulance.

Another two-vehicle accident occurred just before 11 a.m. near the intersection of Fourth and Mill Streets, where a Honda Civic and a Ford Expedition collided. Occupants of both vehicles escaped serious injury.
