Even though I am against this type of entertainment in a town , you can not stop it. It would be nice to have some type of settlement outside the courtroom which would save everyone money. With the guidelines as I read, it is hard to have that type of entertainment in Columbia

But this borough is using tax money to fight it; yet they fawn over every fly-by-night “antique” shop selling overpriced junk. Or wasting $30,000 for a trolley bus to drive empty around town. Maybe the borough should sell the Market House to Club Good Times (at least it would get some regular use). Or the empty fire station on Front St.? -FMB ( who knows the difference between a field and a school)

Ah yes, Bob. Promoting the same old tired ideas that have been tried and re-tried (and never succeeded) for the past 50 years. But hey – maybe it will work next week?Meanwhile, it reality…FMB(who doesn't care about Avenue J or what goes on behind closed doors at Good Times)

The field does harbour many school kids during sporting events, so while it's a bit of a stretch, I do see it. The trolley isn't always empty.Columbia needs new blood in high places.

There are several grass alleys that have become “private” over the decades. Citizen's eminent domain. No one will address the issue. People use the alleys for storage, driveways and parking. Not likely to change.

Club Good Times shuts the doors. No doors on Avenue J or any of the other private grass alleys. Some are important as access points for emergency equipment, but who cares.

It's too much of a stretch. And who cares? It's all behind closed doors. The club could be next door to a school for all it matters. I bet the people that live in their houses across the street from the elementary schools are naked sometimes, too! Guess we should move them. –FMB(I do think that should be the bus' new slogan. “Not always empty”. I like it. )

Point is “private” is in quotes for a reason. The grass alleys are indeed borough owned, but the borough does not give a crap who does what with them.

Ave J still has a good portion of the brick and cobblestone intact from when it was a CARRIAGE WAY.IT'S History and being abused for no good reason.CLOSE IT AND PRESERVE WHAT IS LEFT!
