According to several official sources, the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail was to have been closed from the Wrights Ferry Bridge to a point in Marietta for paving, as of last Wednesday, May 11. However, the trail has been open, unpaved, for the last few days, including today, Sunday, with no sign of paving equipment at either end – Columbia or Marietta. Many visitors having been taking advantage of the open, unpaved, trail.

Personally I feel it should not be paved, it's a trail,,,,,

I agree to a point that the trail should not be paved, but people that are handicapped in wheelchairs and bikers probably enjoy a paved trail. Either way, go out and enjoy nature and do the trail.

Yes, it's an improvement and asset to the Rivertowns, I agree. Hope there was serious thought put into the paving part of this venture is all.GO ENJOY

Yes, your children are your responsibility! So many good children in our town, yet they get lumped together with the few that are TROUBLE! HEY teach them well or ground them and NO PRIVLAGES…
