  1. Allow the district with the highest taxes already, & with the taxpayers who can afford it the least the biggest increase. Sounds like to me their trying to bury this school.

  2. How in the world does this make sense??? “but schools with high poverty or stagnant property values can raise taxes a bit more”. No one can afford things to begin with so let's hit them a little harder yet! What do they think it's going to do?

  3. Every single household in this borough should stop paying their school taxes. Just stop. What would happen then? They have us by the balls, maybe it's time to turn the tables. A good old fashioned revolt.

  4. $ 66,000 a year to teach Specials to teach 5 kids, and they complain, IU13 out of control in costs, because of Union costing, State, Columbia, and other schools in Pa. $ 24,000,000 in Columbia to send off 80 kids or less. the Teachers Union needs to adjust to Columbia's needs, or move on, get a job some where else. Good luck with that. Best job ever in any shape or form.
