Kettle Works installs railings for outdoor seating
Columbia Kettle Works recently installed metal railings shown below to enclose sidewalk tables for outdoor seating. Eventually, awnings will also be installed.
Actually, I thought allowing this was something the borough did right. Conditions there may get better when the bypass project is complete and most of the trucks are out of the middle of town.

Outdoor seating or penalty box? But a lovely ambiance of concrete, asphalt and cars/trucks driving by. Four stars?

Yes, it's a step in the right direction for those willing to try it. Good luck to them.

I have no issue with the idea/allowance. I just don't see the attraction of eating in a cage on the side of a downtown street. That's all.

Hope the diners can put up with the sights! That may be hard to swallow.

No, not “one of them”, they are “not one of us”. Imported, tatted up, smoking, littering, loitering, fools that make us look bad.
