Gee … wonder why this reads like a press release? The borough's side is brought up; the developer's side is brought up. What about the Customer's side (the Department of Human Services)?Think this might be an agenda-driven press-release. Little real news here. Just thoughts expressed with no real substance.
yes, put the call center on the ground level and the parking levels up high and keep the top deck for tourist parking and then put a mono rail to the down town
the LAND was NOT sold to LASA. just the treatment plant!it sounds like a bad deal to me anyway, IBS developer would make out while COlumbia Boro LOSES again.
Let the building go into foreclosure. It can be gotten for pennies on the dollar after that. Commercial buildings aren't worth anything in Cola., & this one is in a flood plain & on rented land. Nobody should pay what's owed on this building, including the Hambones.
you'd think this council were ALL millionaires…at least that's the way they spend OUR MONEY. just look at the taj mahal too. WHEN will any of them step up to the plate and DO what their residents want them to. that voted them in in the first place.
If you believe in the power of prayer, then pray this turkey doesn't come to roost here. It's not in Columbia's best interest. The salesman is selling us pies in the sky.

Place the call center at the waste water treatment plant. There will be plenty of room for parking.

They only sold the collection system. The waste water treatment plant property stays with the Borough.
