After waiting at the front of her vehicle, Curry retreated inside and locked the doors. In the photo above, she can be seen speaking to a witness while waiting for police to arrive.

If the police were harassed in this way they would not hesitate to unload as quick as posible. See this on the news all the time. And rightfully so.

I am chronicly ill and ashley curry has been my caretaker and friend for many years. I do not know a better person. If any of this is true she must have been pushed to far. There is no way she just up and shot someone for no good reason. I have been reading some hatefull stuff on other sites that are far worse then some of the things she is acused of saying and doing. Ashley has been dealing with domestic violence all her life and yet still manages to keep a good outlook on life. No one should have to live in fear every day but she does. There is a lot more to this and will come out as all of this unfolds. People have to carry guns when their abusers get away with never ending incedents. For what its worth ashleys abuser has violated his 5th PFA just two weeks ago. Amazingly he is still out creepin around town… she has had no contact with this man for 8 years and still he has people follow her around on a regular basis. Not long ago beat her and a friend with a baseball bat .8 counts of ag assult with a deadly weapon and walked. Jee wiz the police cant do nothin about this sort of stuff so what are people left to do. Again… 5 PFAs and all of them violated !

This was not a homicide ! A clean drop shot. And yet they kept comin at her. That alone says a lot. Best of luck to miss curry. Totaly unfair to say the least. The report says miss curry ran to her truck to get a gun and then came back to shoot. That is completely ridiculous too. The combined weight of those women compared to curry is like a car parked on a shoe box. Sucks to have to rant and rave but curry deserves a fair shake and it would seem she is not. Totaly one sided investigation.

Smith before he got sick had a lot of years turning some of columbias worst crack houses and nusense propertys into uper end viable dwellings. I know this because i worked with him on many projects. He has taken on huge projects by himself in an effort to make columbia a better place for all. So for you people who want to call him “pond scum” maybe you should get to know him. That is not the case. He has also raised a couple mids that were not his own when their pond scum from columbia father never contributed a penny. Just abuse towards the mother and kids. So before ya go judging people know something about them. If you are so quick to call people names then WTF have you done lately to be so high up and rightous. Obviously you dont know him or you would not say these things. Smith has worked with columbia boro for years as far as i kmow to make your s#@thole town a better place…… i understand and i get it but damn ease up…

A last message for cole : we have been passing the nook around in circles for days. Exploring the net for facts good and bad on this issue. Thank you for letting us all vent and blow off some steam. Thank you for keeping a level and open eye on columbia pa. Always an interesting read no doubt. At the end of the day it is always good to look at things from all sides. Thank you again. Wow, it would now seem that curry was well with in her rights to protect herself. After being stalked and harassed she was then attacked long after the argument was over. The topic of shoplifting keeps comin up. Curry was never in the store so who dropped all the items in question. Hmmm ! Curry is being punished. That just does not strike me as fair. I can only hope a judge can see thru this bull s@#t and make things right. Miss curry and mr smirh are good people. It is no fault of theirs that columbia has been forever over flowed with such wonderfull people. Lets get real i hear folks pissin and moanin all the time about “the bad element” in town. But no lets pick on the one that has defended herself from just that….

If u read the current news like columbiapaonline Mccowin is the nut case her last name used to be beaty just read titled the other side of the story to answer your quesruon about who us the nutcase. Mis. Curry has no priors the other 3alleged victims are all convicted felons just look up their recirds for free on the unified judicial system. Curry is the real victim again read the other side of the story on columbiapaonline then comment eh?

Racism lets talk about that. First visit @gogetfunding.com/ashleys-justice-fund/ and view the police report document and pictures. Then google search the link for pennsylvania unified judicial system and search common pleas docket sheets under the name of the one who was shot and see for yourself this one was on probation for being a known criminal….. So what would you call it when a girl who has no criminal record and only defending her life get's wrongfully charged while the known criminal who was on probation and she is not charged even though she broke the law and violated probation… Is that racist or selective prosecution maybe even both? You be the Judge and please post this I find it interesting people can post what they think yet when you want hard core facts published they don't want to do that Why???????Perhaps you could ask the prosecutor why? And publish that too?

How about some truth about Ms. Curry's ex-defense Attorney? Find that interesting too no one wants to put that out there well the petition to withdraw has been filed and the reason for that is because he represented the shot girl in not just one previous criminal action but 2 then claimed he never knew… Lawyers are required to keep a “conflict” file for just that reason… That would make for an interesting article… I'm told Mr. Marinaro is the best in the county that being said if that is true then what does that say about the COunty??? And well you get the idea, at least I hope you do and if you don't then you have my pity….

I'm sorry Mr. Umber but when a prosecutor goes on the News and makes comments about Ms. Curry being a danger to society while concealing the fact that she was only defending herself from the danger in society, the drug atticks who were on probation and in possession of a “drug pipe” both with current and prior rap sheets put her in, there is something very wrong with that. When a prosecutor cares more about securing a wrongful conviction then he does persueing the truth. I heard This same prosecutor is running for district Judge would you want someone like that hearing and ruling on your case?
