A head-on collision occurred Friday afternoon on South Fifth Street near Avenue N. A gray Saturn traveling north allegedly crossed lanes and struck a yellow Mustang facing south.
Was the female driver texting? Was she drug tested? Bystanders said she was driving fast and swerving just prior to impact. It's an odd place to have a head-on collision, someone had to be distracted , disoriented, or medically unstable.
There is always double parked cars on fifth street. Even when there are parking spaces available, they park in the street making people go around them.
