what the heck is wrong with this “School Board??????” really? why don't you start making all the necessary arrangements to COMBINE with other school districts-more than 1-say Donegal, Eastern and/or West Hempfield-let the parents make the choice. BEST THING YOU COULD DO FOR THE TAXPAYERS OF COLUMBIA. These other schoold don't want us either-so keep our school bldgs (3) and sports and combine just in the sense of saving money/getting better price for everything.
I AGREE 1000 % THE TIME HAS COME. THE TAXPAYERS CAN NOT CARRY ALL THESE TRANSIENTS WHO MOVE HERE AND SEND THEIR KIDS TO OUR OVERCROWDED SCHOOLS AND DO NOTHING FOR OUR TOWN….THE SCHOOL BOARD IS A JOKE.SAME AS BOROUGH COUNCIL. A JOKE. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY RIDICULOUS. OH AND DONT FORGET THE NEW BUILDING AT RIVER PARK FOR ALMOST $$$$ 2 MILLION PLUS BORO IS STILL LOOKING INTO SELLING THE SEWER PLANT TO LASA – THE ABSOLUTE BIGGEST MOST HORRENDOUS IDIOTIC STUPID DUMB ASSANINE THING IT COULD POSSIBLY DO……MAKES ONE WONDER WHO HAS OUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART. CERTAINLY NOT THIS BORO COUNCIL.
