Mystery bird Although I only had my point ‘n’ shoot camera with me at the time, I was lucky enough to get these shots of this bird at River Park on Tuesday afternoon. I’m not sure of the species. It might be a sharp shinned hawk . . . Maybe a Goshawk, marked like one? How big, sharp shinned are 10 – 14″ Goshawk r bigger but usually more souther this time of the year. LikeLike Reply
The head resembles that of a goshawk, as do the markings, so it could be one. I estimate it at about 14″. LikeLike Reply
