West Side Beverage Robbed at Gunpoint

According to scanner reports, West Side Beverage in West Hempfield was robbed of $1,000 shortly after 8 o’clock Tuesday night.  Witnesses reported that a man and woman wearing white bandanas and using the names Clyde and Nicole displayed a black revolver during the robbery.  The two were last seen running in the direction of Quarry Drive behind Weis Markets.

  1. i have been out there recently and the young man who was held up is still very upset by what happened, and i can understand why. what i dont get is why this was never mentioned in the newspaper, nor was it reported on the tv news? This is a news item and something that should be out there so other businesses are aware of what may be going on in the area.

  2. The Lancaster newspaper has vowed to increase coverage according to an article written on September 18, 2012. How was a robbery at gunpoint with the perps still at large ever be missed!??!!
