Show Me a Sign . . .
. . . and they did:
On a previous post HERE, I noted that the lack of proper signage at 11th and Barber Streets was contributing to the problem of drivers traveling the wrong way on Barber Street, which is one-way along this stretch of road.
An observant Barber Street resident recently noticed new signs had been installed, in a comment on the original post. Although the commenter is still not totally convinced the new signage will solve the problem, I believe the borough (specifically, the Highway Department, I assume) has done its job, and my thanks go out to them for doing so.
Looking south on 11th Street:
A NO RIGHT TURN sign has been installed, as well as the ONE WAY sign (in the background) on Barber Street.
Another view of the ONE WAY sign, as well as the DO NOT ENTER sign that was adjusted to make it more visible.
Job well done in installing these signs.
Now, it’s up to drivers to abide by them.

Some items from the past week . . .
Yes really
The sign says NO SWIMMING, but technically he’s not breaking the law, because he’s doggy-paddling.
He did, however, go in without a life jacket.

Either get out the Roundup, or mow the sidewalk.
Unless they’re adding it as a side lawn, in which case, mow it anyway.
