"Movie Under the Stars” Set For Columbia River Park

On Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 7:15 PM, on the lawn at the River Park, the Big Screen is coming to Columbia! Come enjoy “The NeverEnding Story,” shown on a crowd-sized movie screen, with the the Veterans Memorial Bridge and the rapidly setting sun as a backdrop. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, kids and neighbors. The movie presentation, “The NeverEnding Story” (PG) is a 1984 fantasy classic about a boy, Bastian Balthazar Bux who, while running away from the school roughnecks, ducks into an antique book store where he finds a book called The NeverEnding Story. He takes the book and hides in his school’s attic, where he begins to read. What happens next is amazing!
We all miss the drive-in and this is as close as we’ll get for now. We anticipate that this will be the first of many “Movies Under the Stars” events in Columbia.

The rain date is Sunday, September 27th at sunset.

Thanks to Columbia Borough Parks and Recreation and Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts for sponsoring this event.

We really appreciate the community support!!
