Vehicle accident with entrapment at 4th & Poplar
A vehicle accident with entrapment occurred shortly after 5 p.m. today at the intersection of North Fourth and Poplar Streets. A source tells Columbia Spy that a Chevy Silverado traveling north on Fourth collided with a Nissan Rogue traveling west on Poplar. An occupant of the Nissan was taken by ambulance.

Workers at 3rd & Locust are removing an I-beam from the side of the building as part of a renovation project that was described HERE.
The forklift operator is lowering the beam to the sidewalk.
The two large panels on the side of the building will be removed, and full-length windows will be installed.
