On the waterfront

 Chiques Challenge participants

 A boater took cover under the bridge during a recent downpour.

 Another boater didn’t.  He decided to put his boat in during the deluge.

 A flotilla of canoes (and kayaks) sailed downstream last Saturday morning.
I think the participants were members of a boy scout troop.

 Speaking of Buddhism, there’s an “OM” missing from the high school sign.
(And yes, that word is used in the Hindu religion, also.)
Of course, there could be a guy named “Octavius Maximus” who took the letters for his bragging wall.
(Hmmm . . . I see there’s a “C” and a “U” left.)

This coming Friday is the last day for this program.
