A for-profit and not-for-profit collaboration has been formed in an effort to ensure that the community work being done at Columbia Creative Factory (CCF), 247 Locust St., Columbia, will be able to continue. An offshoot of the Lancaster Creative Factory, the CCF has been offering low-cost and free art classes and programming for children, youths, and adults since 2016. The building that housed the organization for four years on a donated basis was listed for sale in January 2019.

Emergency units are responding to a house fire in Columbia on Monday night.
The fire was called in around 6 p.m. and was reported to be in the 500 block of Manor Street.
