U.B. Artist Benefit Silent Auction for the Columbia Food Bank
From Jonal Gallery:
PART I – U.B. Artist claims a success!
“I am so proud of OUR success in the completion of many great masterpieces during my U.B. Artist interactive exhibit held at Jonal Gallery/Alverta Arts Shop! Together with more than 75 patrons and artists we created some great works of art for your viewing AND BIDDING pleasure. A special thank you goes out to all those who helped me create these masterpieces so the nice guys at the Gallery can hold a silent auction with all proceeds going to benefit the Columbia Food Bank. Gee, Didn’t we have fun while helping Jonal Gallery/Alverta Arts Shop, helping those, who help others!”
“Oh, I don’t want to forget to thank those guys at the Gallery for making this very special interactive benefit exhibit possible! Heck, they donated all that great space for us to work in. Not to mention they provided us with the canvases, paints, and palettes to create these great pieces. And, they even cleaned up after me, cause I am a self admitted sloppy painter.”
“Now I need one more thing from each of you. I need you to help me claim yet another success! A successful Benefit Silent Auction being held during the Fourth Friday Festivities on October 25 and extended through Saturday, October 26. Join us Friday 5-9pm and Saturday 10am-5pm, get your personal – private bidding number and bid generously and bid often (sneak preview of my masterpieces are avail for viewing on Thursday and Friday during normal business hours).”
“Come celebrate with me this weekend our first success of creation and now for our second success; a super fantastic Benefit Silent Auction.”
“Please Bid Generously and often, so together we can help those who help others; the Columbia Food Bank!”

“The Devil’s in the Details”
Weavings, INK Art Gallery will be hosting a Halloween-themed show with a kind of a 50’s, 60’s sensibility – “Creepy” and “Eerie,” easy on the “Vampirella” and “Tales from the Crypt,” “Nightmare Before Christmas” as opposed to “Nightmare on Elm Street.” More “Ghostbusters,” less “Chain Saw.” Kind of “Psycho” lite. Family friendly chills, in originals and prints, 2D and 3D.
Dates of show: October 25 – November 15, 2013
Opening Reception: Fourth Friday, October 25, 5-9 pm
