Lancaster Printers Fair to be held September 14 & 15
The Sixth Annual Lancaster Printers Fair is scheduled for September 14 and 15. This year is gearing up to be bigger and better. New features include:
- A new name to be inclusive all of types of printing; not just letterpress.
- “Printing on Penn Square” demonstrations, live music and silent auction (Friday, Sept. 14)
- A world-record setting attempt for most people printing with a potato (Saturday, Sept. 15)
- A beer garden by Wacker Brewing Co., which will offer a signature brew in honor of the fair (Saturday, Sept. 15)
- 5, month-long printing exhibitions at downtown Lancaster galleries
The event will continue to feature a 25-vendor street fair on the 300 Block of North Queen on Saturday, Sept. 15 with pedestrians free to roam the vendors and neighboring shops from 11a.m. to 4 p.m.

Foresters cited for liquor law violation
The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement (LCE) cited nine Lancaster County businesses for Liquor Law violations in August ranging from conflicts of interest to selling alcohol to a minor, police said Wednesday.
Foresters of America Court Susquehanna No. 235, Columbia — Failed to maintain complete and truthful records for two years.
