In a 4-2 vote, Columbia Borough Council approved Ordinance 954 Tuesday night, setting the tax rate for 2025 at 10 mills, an increase of 2 mills, or 25%, over the previous millage.
Councilors Peter Stahl and Joanne Geesey voted no to the increase. Councilwoman Barbara Fisher was absent.
