Mark Stivers to step down as Columbia Borough manager

After a 25-minute executive session at Tuesday night’s Columbia Borough Council, President Heather Zink announced the resignation of borough manager Mark Stivers. Council voted unanimously to accept his resignation. Stivers announced he will leave the position in four weeks.   

Stivers began his tenure with the borough in March 2020.

Council also voted to advertise the open position. 

Rumors of the resignation had circulated throughout the borough over the past few days.
