Mario Casanova-Lanzo, 42, formerly of Columbia, was convicted Thursday for killing 36-year-old Parrish Thaxton, of Lancaster and Bronx, New York, at his estranged wife’s home in the 200 block of North 3rd Street on Feb. 20, 2013.
