This is a joke right? Here is an idea, how about a qualified, people person runs it? Who the hell is going to lease a building that old with poor heat and water, this is the part where council failed columbia…. AGAIN AND AGAIN

We're paying for community development, let's see the borough owned market house developed. The borough allowed picnic tables to be removed from the market house. Where did they end up? Borough property must be accounted for, even if it is being thrown out. Those that paid for it and used it have to be informed of what happened to it.

I believe that the Market House SHOULD be available by many organizations to utilize as a classroom, art classes, ged classes, how to be a good parent classes, etc. the TAXPAYERS OWN THE MARKET HOUSE. Let the schools utilize it for clubs, etc to give our children something to do. Most towns have something…maybe kids want art lessons, or tap lessons, or to learn about Black History or the Native Americans or better yet our Veterans and the blank check many of them signed. Since many parents don't or won't…..teach them how to be respectful, to be hard working, to help their elderly neighbor! the MORAL CODE is one of the important things missing in todays society. time to bring it back.

the mayor said we can not arrest our way out of drug and vandalism , so lets make something for them to do…we have a building , use it.
