County Commissioners on Tuesday directed Lancaster County-Wide Communications to encrypt police transmissions, blocking the public — and media — from hearing what’s going on in the county.

Jersey Surf plays at CHS Saturday

Jersey Surf gave a free concert Saturday night at the Columbia High School stadium. Members have been putting in 14-hour days to practice for competitions, parades, and other events.

The Jersey Surf is a New Jersey non-profit corporation, dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities for young people in the performing arts. These opportunities occur in an environment which promotes the social and artistic development of the organization’s participants through creative programs, designed with the highest possible quality of leadership and instruction.
