Wilson Affeld had his work cut out for him this morning, arriving at Columbia Crossing to find a huge number of mayflies on the front porch area. Affeld said the eggs are waxy and slippery. He was power washing the floor of the front porch area to get rid of them.

Aument proposes bill to incentivize shared school leadership and other services
Columbia Borough and Eastern Lancaster County school boards on Monday finalized a contract for joint leadership in 2016-17. They said the plan would ease Columbia's financial and human resources challenges while raising revenue for Elanco.
