Cops will watch Craiglist deals in hopes of cutting crime

Columbia police went so far as to post a Facebook message to residents, urging them to do in-person Craigslist business at their station.
“The transaction can take place in our lobby,” Brommer said. “They don’t need to bring the merchandise inside.”
